The spooling looks ok to me. The best way to handle it it’s to practice. Don’t hesitate to tight the break and tensioner at the beginning and slowly reduce them when you feel more comfortable.
I also use a left hand reel even if I’m right handed. It just feels weird to reel with my right hand. 🤷♂️
