Caught on an unnamed creek somewhere in between Yosemite and Tahoe, CA, high elevation (9,000+ ft)

Golden, they’re all over the Sierras once you get above 9-10k elevation, I believe it was miners that transported them around and planted them outside of their native range in the late 1800s, I think one story is a bunch were put into a tin can and placed into a creek over the divide that separates their native kern range from cottonwood
