I’ve posted on here before and I was recommended these two. I’ve already purchased a Penn Battle lll 3000. I plan on doing saltwater and freshwater fishing in NYC.(Im a complete beginner). Now the reason I’m stuck between these two is the price, after taxes the Select would be $70 and for the carbon it’d be $108. I do want the carbon inshore more but want to know if there is really a $30 difference and I should just get the select. Any advice is appreciated
