The water was so clear, you barely needed a fish finder, all you had to do was look down.

The day started off at slack tide, as we worked our way out Jack and I practiced boat control and bait presentation.

With typical sheepshead frustrations, Jack had a handful of missed bites and fish spitting the hook. With a little persistence, Jack started connecting.

With a couple of smaller fish we started to really hunt for trophy fish, and shortly after Jack put this 24" monster in the kayak.

The wind and the current really started to pick up soon after and we worked our way back to shore. The bite had really slowed down, but I was able to get one in the kayak for me, not as big as Jack's fish, but a respectable 23" sheep.

Thanks for coming out today Jack, I really appreciate you booking!
