Caught my first peanut dolphin on the fly over the summer. Brought a fly rod offshore on the off chance I could throw something in the ocean. Got into some bailers trolling for blues and fed them a deceiver. Ate it just about as soon as the it hit the water. The 10 weight was probably a bit overkill, but it was definitely a good time, and it’s always a good feeling to catch something on your own tie.
