Give it a go! You’ll never really know what the fish in your area likes until you give it a try, I didn’t think my carp in the area would like grits and jello but they do. I’m sure nuts would work especially these ones because carp LOVE salt, it’s in there natural environment and need it to maintain there internal salt levels, so with all that being said I would think it would work, I’m going out tommorw to catch some carp hopefully, tight lines my friend!
