Went out this morning and on my first cast in the red spot I got a strike in seconds. We battled for a minute, but he got away after going into cover. My question is, is the spot I got a strike no longer going to be active. I’m assuming the one I briefly hooked is now spooked, but does the fight scare all the other bass away? Are bass solitary in that there will only be one within so many feet from another? Just wondering if at that point I cast certain distance away from that spot. Thanks in advance.
