Betta Fish: What type of betta is this?

Hi all, we purchased a betta about a month ago who had some pretty significant fin rot. He was sold as a half moon, but as his find heal some I am beginning to think he may be a rosetail… I have not kept bettas in quite some time (this was purchased for my daughter) and we are curious about what his colouring and fin type is called.
