I bought some to test out because it was mega cheap and it’s just line right? Just wanted to share my experience with yall.
I tried 2 different brands, Eagle power or something like that, and situation. They both seem like the exact some product rebranded. I opened it up, it felt pretty good, it was really slick, tensile strength from pulling on it seemed ok so I spooled it up and tried it. Took some 65lb test or whatever their equivalent is out for catfish, threw a live bluegill on, rod got absolutely hammered by a giant fish, braid snaps like a twig. I had a feeling it got rubbed on a boulder and couldn’t take the abrasion so I tested it. Put the line in a closed pair of needle nose pliers and pulled, and lo and behold the braid was absolutely destroyed without even really trying. This stuff has less than 0 abrasion resistance. I also eventually realized it doesn’t hold a knot whatsoever. This is a completely avoid imo, unusable category. Just buy powerpro
