When you’re shopping for baits, what does it take for you to try a new (smaller) brand?

  1. Price. I just use tungsten jigs from Motley now. Haven’t really come across a better value yet.

  2. My little brother grabs it off the rack and puts it in my cart usually. Make it colorful and expensive and he’s into it.

  3. I usually go with tried and true. Only new company I’ve seen that I may try is Nikko. From a YouTube review their stuff looks bomb. I’ve been going with a strike king lately because their stuff is really cheap and works well.

  4. Quality and ease of use I should say I’m a huge fan of Googan baits it’s all I use there jigs are amazing with there dual bait keepers also I love the Googan labs videos as someone newer to bass fishing it’s great to learn new techniques!!

Depends. I go off what people on here talk about. I also buy cheaper things, at least if it’s trash, it was cheap. Not much a loss then

So I got into fishing by watching a certain group of YouTubers. They came out with tackle and it’s been really all I buy. Also whatever I get in MTB’s I’ll try out also

I just go with what I know for the most part, and then test out things my lake buddies recommend based on how much they catch in the lakes we are at. If I see a deal on something I’ll grab something to try; it’s worked out in my favor a few times!
