Are you feeling it without tension on the line? There should always be tension when you’re reeling in.

the line is jumping off and going under the reel, Plan A: try and open the bail and pull out about 20 yards of line and cut it off. if that doesn’t work and it lets out no line when the bail is open go to plan B: loosen your drag knob until it pops off and you can take off the spool. gently untangle all the line that’s under the spool, and then do plan A as follows. if that’s confusing for you, look up on tiktok “how to remove spool on spinning reel” this will fix it, just remove line and cut it till it doesn’t jump off any more
