My son and I go fishing on a lake regularly. A couple days ago some people were launching their boat where I tend to catch some bass. It’s not a busy launch. As they launch they ask me to move because they don’t wanna run over my line. I said no worries I’ll be out of your way when you’re backing out. Wasn’t an issue. I moved on along the shore fishing while my kid was on a dock, also fishing. Apparently the guy stopped right in front of my kid for whatever reason. As I was fishing along shore I casted out and the man on the boat seemed to deliberately run my line over. I reeled in my line as quickly as possible however it caught onto his boat. His son I’m assuming said “oh you got your line back” I was pissed at this point thinking his old man has done this before. I didn’t know about him stopping in front of my son until the aftermath. All said it kinda ruined our day but looking at the lure with the red paint kinda made it better.
