My mom bought a betta fish on impulse from a discount store so no information was provided. I also don't know about fish in general. Does anyone know what type of betta this guys is?Also does he look healthy? I bought him calcium balls but he doesn't care for them. Not sure how to make this guy happy.

Looks a lot like mine (halfmoon betta) but your guy looks rough, I’m sure others will provide more info on proper care, I’m also new to owning a fish
