I used to kayak fish all the time then moved to Colorado for the past 8 years and kayak fishing is tough out there. I just recently moved to North Carolina and want to get a kayak again. I have a 4 year old and a 1 year old, so looking at tandem kayaks to get them out on the water with me. Couple questions I have for the group. First, is a pedal drive kayak worth the extra cost? And secondly, looking for recommendations. I love to fish but I understand bringing kids on the water makes fishing tougher. Not looking for a hobie, but looking for a kayak that will be safe and comfortable for a long day on the water. I can always add rod holders/things to make it more fishy. I have zoomed in on the feelfree lure 2 tandem, the brooklyn 13.5 tandem, and the crescent crew kayak. Any recommendations/feedback of tandem kayaks is appreciated. Thank you!
