I just got this handsome boy “Opie” last week and he is thriving well. He has some peacock spots on him that I hope will evolve as he settles into his new tank.
My question is, I know you can over feed your betta- however this guy acts like he’s never been fed each time I go to feed him (twice a day) so am I over feeding or under feeding? I started out with 3-4 pellets but now am doing 4-6 pellets twice a day. Although I have upped his amount, he still acts like he is starving. I also give treats in between feedings (not everyday). He does seem like he’s been around the block a while and possibly just more mature than the other bettas I’ve had. I just want to make sure I don’t over feed/underfeed if this little guy needs more/less. I honestly think he’s just trying me but I have to ask the community! Thanks in advance!
