So my work has its own park for employees and they have this little stocked pond there.
The pond is completely taken over by duck weed and I have no idea how to fish it.
I've tried like 3 times to punch through and get something going but it's either too thick or I get choked up and it's like mowing the grass.
Any hope here or should I take this one off the usual spots?

If your employer owns and maintains it why not talk to the groundskeeper or whomever is in charge of the pond? It’s not exactly asceticly pleasing as is as well as being hard to fish.
