Never really had much luck fishing in such shallow surf. Starting catching a ton of croaker/spot almost nonstop, then I started wading/swimming out to the sandbar and casting from there. Nothing crazy but the little red was nice, and it was a nice crowd watching me catch that nice southern ray. Not very big but an aggressive, short 10-minute fight.
