Betta Fish: Recently rescued this cutie, never much of a fish fan despite being an aquarium keeper, but I never realized how much personality they have. Comes right up to the glass whenever I pass by (probably because he loves me not because I’m the food giver)

He was in a probably third gallon looking sickly that I took (with permission) from my ex after we decided to split ways. Now his color is really starting to pop and he’s perking up a lot after placing him in adequate care in a 10 gallon. Unfortunately this isn’t his permanent home as I plant to put shrimp in here and don’t want him to gobble them all lol
