Wedding in Mystic, CT.
Upper Farmington River about 1hr45min away from wedding. Seems worth flying to Providence with gear just for that. Would have to rent a car. ~$200
Also see some options in MA that don’t look as good. Probably won’t bother.
Is there good enough fishing from NC to CT that I should just drive? Could take one way there, and another back. I like to target big trout, stocked or not. Tailwaters & the like.
I drive a Tesla so looking at 16 hrs each way if I drove. Don’t love it, but I make that kind of trek regularly.
