How do I fish this? Do I clip my swivel directly to it or do I still use leader? I’m fishing for mostly bass and bluegill

I can’t speak to the rod — that’s one of those Walmart store brand ones? The line…. c’mon man. It costs like 3 bucks to go up from terrible line to perfectly good line. Don’t cheap out on line.
