Not the first time a bass’s teeth have ripped me up, but definitely the worst. Reeled in a 4lb 10oz largie and was taking it off the scale with my four fingers in its mouth and it started shaking and chomping its jaw. Never been torn up this bad before, caused a little blood. Not trying to seem like a wimp, just sharing the outcome. Anyone know how to make them shake less? Usually bigger bass rarely shake for me, but this one did. I’ve seen that bass that aren’t caught often, fight harder, I guess that could be a reason why he was so aggressive out of the water.

I usually go swimming whenever I go fishing, and there’s always tons of sunfish that surround me and they tend to nip at your legs. Can’t say it feels good when they notice a scrap and decide to rip it off. They aim for nipples too.

I’ve seen bass while swimming, but they never come close

Hmm as soon as I lip a fish with my thumb they seem to go immobile for me.
