Like I said, in the title, I’m pretty new to fishing altogether and really new to fishing bass. Caught these two today one was 15 inches and the other was 17 1/2. My couple questions are how can I get my soft baits like my wacky worm rig to cast out further? Second question is what is the best way to know when my line has hit the bottom beside getting high fluorescent line? It probably helps to say that I fish from the bank in Missouri.
