also dont want to go much higher then the highest rated line… so about 8 pound line max for that reel,,, you want the line to break before the reel itself does and implodes in your hand lol

On spinning reels it’s usually a solid recommendation for line and how much of that line it will hold. 4-6lb line would be perfect
