When I was a little kid I would see Gar at the county fair in the DNR’s aquarium displays and they intrigued me. Its been a life long dream to catch one. Never in a million years did I expect to catch one from a dock on a hot ass day on a crankbait. I’m still in shock.

Nice! Did you use a rope? I tried using top water got alot of hook sets, but didn’t have much luck. I did catch a bowfin instead
