Recently rescaped my 29 gallon and found these floating plants.I only have red root floaters and have no idea how these could’ve gotten here

    Duckweed. If yo don’t want it all over your tank, remove that little bit of it asap.

  2. Salvinia minima – it’ll get eaten by fish or be a healthy addition to the tank (floating plants remove more waste as they’re able to get CO2 from the air).

    You can remove excess as it grows, dry it in the oven, and grind it into a powder you mix with agar agar and hot water to make into gel food for your fish.
