Look, I already know the answer to the question.
I've been trying to find a clean 4 door 4×4 99-07 Chevy/GMC pick up for a few weeks now and its just very difficult to find something reasonably priced.
Spending 15K for a 20 year old truck doesn't sound amazing to me.
I found a sierra that is PERFECT. I absolutely love it and I would legit buy it today…
…except its AWD and not 4WD. TBH 99.98% of my driving will not necessitate AWD, let alone 4WD. However all it takes is one little fuck up or oversight on the beach and im a sitting duck.
4WD is obviously preferred over AWD.
I'm simply asking the question because I keep thinking about this truck and I need to be talked out of it because I do plan on surf fishing a few times a year with 4 people in the truck and the bed loaded up.
I trust GMC's AWD system well enough, but idk about well enough for sand..
Thoughts?
