Update; after getting my wife & I rods and that first weekend of catching 2 bass. This has taken over my life. I’ve spent countless hours researching fishing, boats, lures etc. Last weekend we rented a pontoon in the local lake & it was game on. Against most people’s recommendations, I went and bought our own 16’ tracker super guide this weekend anyways (we’re now at weekend #3 of fishing). Yesterday we took her on her maiden voyage at 530am with my neighbor, and landed this 21” channel cat. I have a tablet in the mail just to run Navionics on a larger screen / not have to split screen my fish finder. Less than 1 month ago my wife was teaching me how to tie a fishing knot. I can not do anything casually. I partially blame all of you. This is now my life. Send help.
