My dad’s first time fly fishing (he fishes conventional). I gotta say fishing out in Colorado is a lot different than my home state. These fish fight, especially with the current! We fished the trico spinner hatch on the south platte. Learned a lot as a novice fly fisher and my dad had a blast! Had a 20 inch brown I fought for a while that spit out the hook right at the net (sad), but we’ll get him next time 😉 tight lines!
