Went on a couple of solo outings near Deadwood, South Dakota…my first time ever fishing SD. Surprised myself with a few nice ones and lost several more. I feel South Dakota is definitely one of those places that does not get enough love in terms of the quality of fishing it has to offer. But a few short hours exploring this creek over a couple of days sure proved me wrong.
