The video is a little short but it does seem too strong in my opinion

Yes, I had this exact filter. I ended up making the water flow out of the water against the glass to muffle it a bit I would just play around with it.

Yeah, your poor fish is trying to swim away from it. Install or rig up some kind of baffle to disperse the flow, or at the very least, raise the water level closer to the source (with that many jets that might not help much). Sponge filters + air pumps are cheaper and better for bettas.
