sorry if it’s a stupid question but i was recently given a bass pro mega plus reel and i haven’t been able to find any info online except for an ebay page selling one. it only has dials on the side with the handle and i feel like i can never cast far or get really bad backlash even on heavier lures. i have it on a 7’6” medium heavy rod and i’ve been wanting to use it for catfishing but i have so much trouble every time that i end up putting it down or giving up.
