This is my thriving betta named Jin (like the Tekken character if any of yall know what that is lmao) and I’ve had him for about a year now. Ever since starting his tank I’ve always just bought the Top Fin pre conditioned aquarium water jugs because it’s genuinely just a lot easier for water changes, and aside from having to add some solutions or ammonia reducers once in a while it’s really easy to keep the parameters all good. I also have a separate snail/shrimp tank and once in a while i’ll put a few skrimp friends in with him as a lil cleanup crew but he literally hunts them for sport lmao. ANYWAYS my point is I was just thinking about how I have a filtered shower head for the sole purpose of filtering out hard water and chlorine-which are the main reasons why tap water is unsafe for aquariums, right?? I was just genuinely curious if that would work as tank water without having to do a long cycle process like you would with tap water. Or if anyone knows if that’s like a huge no go for some reason. Perhaps I could just use my testing kits on the water that comes out of it when I shower and see but I wanted to post this in case anyone else thought of that. Pls don’t come at me if that’s a dumb question/don’t come for my tank I have more plants coming in the mail next week🧍🏻‍♀️im sensitive
