I posted this about a year ago but I’ve definitely made some changes as I started to favor certain techniques and lures. I am primarily a bank fisherman and I hate carrying a heavy backpack around. I discovered that I don’t need to bring so much gear when I’m moving around and only out for a few hours at a time.

I’ll typically carry 2 or 3 rods with me, depending on what I want to catch them on. I’ll usually have something totally different tied on so if it ain’t happening, I can switch based on the conditions.

From top left clockwise:

Small Plano box for hard lures:
megabass pop max
r2s frog
whopper plopper
stealth jackhammer chatterbait
dirty jigs 1oz punch jig
jackall rerange jerkbait,
lipless crankbait.

A lip grip and the all important scale, the fanny pack always has some pliers on them.

I keep one bag of trailers and smaller lures that match drop shot hooks or 3/0 reg hooks. Various worms, craws, spunk shad, and fluke.

A wacky o ring tool and a chartreuse dip marker.

Larger 5/0 reg hooks and some mag flukes, mag speed worms, yamatanukis, a bellows gill, and some craw trailers.
