Been in CO for the week and was evacuated from the Alexander Mountain Fire. After only being able to fish for 1 day in the Big Thompson Canyon before the fires, we shot south to Georgetown and Silver Plume. Managed to catch a few brookies, 1 brown and 1 rainbow. I can’t get over how pretty these things are. Back to TX tomorrow but can’t wait to get on some trout again.

Please keep the local communities affected by these fires in your thoughts and prayers. I was able to witness firsthand the level of humanity and selflessness these people displayed in the face of disaster. That however is another post for another sub. Tight lines.
