Had a day off a cruise to fish at Saltstraumen near Bodo. Apparently fly fishing in the salt is damn rare in Norway (except seatrout from shore). We rented a boat and had a grand day catching cod and coalfish. Including coalfish on surface poppers in the amazing tidal current the area is famous for. So much potential there that is being ignored for heavy gear fishing on the bottom.
