Landon wasn’t joking, after a solid morning on some tough water (they picked the location to fish) that I wouldn’t have taken new anglers much less kids, these guys crushed it landing a few rainbows.
Checked one more spot, I had scouted on the way out and saw a good fish and Shernoff. If he pulled this on one of my junk flies I had him fishing it as a dry and then swinging it downstream through the current and he picked it up on the swing by a big boulder.
He’s for sure hooked for life. That conventional rig will be collecting some dust for sure.
