It may not look it now but this rod is 20 feet long, literally. I picked it up at a re-use store along with a new reel (the one on it). This rod is a Shimano Hyperforce 1:63 and I want to know why the heck it needs to be 20 feet long. At the very end the rod gets insanely thin, so much that it feels like any bite at all would snap it, anyone know how it works without breaking off?
