Hello all! I recent bought me a Ugly Stik Catfish combo. 15-30 lb line. I put 20 lb test mono but I’ve noticed it doesnt cast far. I want to switch to braided but I hear that the reel is meant for mono so I’d have to get like 8 lb test so the line isn’t too thick? Recommendations?
