Originally went for a natural look with dirt mixed with fluval stratum that made cleaning the tank and water changes hell. Loved the look of the dirt in the tank, but it kept clogging the sponge filter and never quite settled like I wanted it to. It basically acted like a 2 inch layer of dust that clouded the tank anytime something swam around. Made the switch to sand and i already love the look of it and the fact that I was able to mold it into a slope easily.
