Please help! I thought these were hydra til I realized hydra is much bigger, I’ve have assumed the brown bits are algae. Should I be worried?

Almost looks reminiscent of a Medusa hydroid that you would get in a saltwater tank.

Could be diatom algae forming on the glass in a weird pattern. Is this a new tank or used? This pattern ive seen growing with saltwater coralline algae. Might be diatom growing on whatever else this tank once held if so. However, your assumption that Hydra is much bigger is false, it’s just isn’t flat like this is.
