Hey – I would appreciate some help!
Came down this morning and fed as usual (4 pellets). He tried to eat when I fed him, but everything just got spat out – he tried a few more times until the pellet disintegrated.
I wondered if he might be constipated, so I showed him a mirror – he flared and pooped. I don't often do mirrors, so I'm hoping this is all that's stressed him? I don't think he was clamped before this… But now I'm doubting my memory.
API master test kit parameters: ph 7.6 (stable), ammonia -0, nitrite -0, nitrate -0.
Temp is 78. Did a 15% water change 2 days ago, nothing new added to the tank. Tankmates – a couple of bladder snails that have never seemed to bother him.
I've turned the lights off and ordered some almond leaves and bloodworm – both should arrive tomorrow.
Anything you'd suggest?
