Apparently i can fish in this pond but every time i come here, the babies come up and look at me đ theyre so small and stupid that id feel bad fishing here. Should i expect bigger, smarter fish here or is this usually it?

Should you expect bigger fish? Probably! I’m sure bigger fish made all those babies.
Should you expect smarter fish? Not really, but the larger ones do tend to be more wary.
A lot of freshwater fishing is like this, though. You can get bream to bite on whatever. Crappie if there isn’t some sort of panfish.
If you want to avoid catching small fish, the best filter is a bigger hook and potentially deeper water. The larger ones are normally just a bit further out, waiting to catch some of the small ones staying close to shore.
