I was hanging out with a few friends on the banks of the Erie Canal. I always have a fishing kit in my truck so I pulled it out! I used trout bait (marshmallow dipped in a red anise shell) and fished the bottom of the canal (about 30 feet or so). After about 35 minutes this guy hit my line and I brought him in.
It wasn't a planned fishing trip, but I seized the opportunity and had fun!
