Caught this fat 16” cutthroat (girth ~14”) in an alpine lake over 12,000 feet this weekend. Most mounts I see aren’t as girthing so was wondering if anyone had any experience with a getting a mount done on a fish like this?
That is such a beautiful fish! I love Blue Ribbon Fish carvers. I met the guy at a fly tying expo in Utah. He is truly an artist. His wooden replicas are more lifelike than any plaster replica I’ve seen. He is such a good painter, he could do those colors justice.
