Just be grateful it wasn’t a 800-1k rod lolol.

Got one of my t&t’s back from a repair a few years ago (broke on my 20 something fish of the weekend, should have called it probably an hour before I broke the rod)

As soon as I got the rod back I was fishing some warm water with it, tossed it in my car thru the window for a trip to the next spot.

Started to drizzle, “no problem” I thought, “I’ll just put the window up a little” …welllllll the rod had slid to the edge right where the window first comes up. Gripped the rod and chopped it right in half…..

Got that fixed and broke it again (but got the fish in on the broken rod, dinosaur brown)

Just got the call yesterday from t&t that she’s done her 3rd repair!!!

Never broke another rod, just that one. Own 5 T&T rods among some Sage, orvis, g-loomis….Everyone tells me to sell it, it’s bad luck, etc…. But I’ve just caught too many fish with it, she’ll keep getting fixed til they won’t fix it anymore.

This rod has caught me 1000’s of fish, she ain’t goin anywhere 🙂

Also might I add since your now in the market for a rod, check out trident fly fishings used rod section I’ve gotten some steals on there!
