What I thought would be another day getting skunked turned around at the last moment. I caught this beauty on a wacky rigged worm, I believe the colorway is named pumpkin with black flake.
I’ve been getting skunked these past few days and really thought all the fish in my pond had packed up and moved to a better pond. Well, after taking out Ol’ Reliable, the wacky rig, I hooked this beauty.
I think the fish in my pond are fed gamma rays because the only time I do catch fish here they end up being very lard lads.
My scale broke but confidently can say this beast was at least 7 pounds. If it clocked in at 8lb though I would be just as happy (Could I get away with that lol). Either way It’s my new personal best & It really excites me more for wtf a 10lb bass looks like
