I’ve fished for as long as I can remember and I’ve had a kayak before. It was a really terrible 9’ sun dolphin sit on and really not big or stable enough to fish off of. That never stopped my from trying but also wasn’t an enjoyable experience. Today I finally managed to get the time to get a OT bleacher seat on my lifetime tomaha. Definitely seems way better than the regular back rest. I’m basically new to kayak fishing so my plan is to build a decent budget kayak for fishing. I picked up this tomaha off Facebook marketplace for $150 and it had only been in the water once. I planned on saving up for an actual fishing kayak but couldn’t pass up on the deal. Plus it’ll be passed on to my wife whenever I do strike a deal on a better fishing kayak. I have a rod holder and a crate for the back but is there anything else I should look into adding to make it better suited for a fishing rig?
