I know it’s likely that when you care for a betta it can change colors. This is platinum betta that I bought at the beginning of July. Every few days, I notice his scales more and more turning dark? Tail is beautiful and he loves exploring his tank. Water parameters are ideal. He looks happy and is active. But I’m worried about the color. First pic is when I got him second is now. Is he just maturing? He was so small when I got him.

Probably turning darker. Many white bettas tend to change their color
Stop this is literally so exciting. Like a mystery fish. I knew bettas get more vibrant when they’re in a healthy environment but I had no idea there were color changing bettas!?!
