I have no idea how to even begin doing this so I figured I would as for help here. What’s the best way for me to start this? Also will 300 yards worth of string be enough for this rod or will I not need the entire 300 yards of line? Sorry if these are annoying questions but this is the fishing for beginners page and I am a beginner.

first wrapthe line around the reel,create a loop and pull one end thought, and start reeling the line in. Keep it tense as you reel it in tho

I just tie a uni knot around it and then reel in
