tank is five gallons, parameters are here:
nitrate: 20
nitrite: 0
hardness: ~75
alkalinity: ~160
pH: 6.6
this happened overnight, went to bed and everything was fine. turned her tank light on this morning and found her like this. any suggestions/identification on what in the world this is?? i thought maybe eggs but it looks more like her food pellets

she isn’t acting any different at all and ate just fine
Most likely an old food pellet that has fungus on it. Brush it off with some airpipe or use a syringe to spray it off with water. Feed a little less or get some form of cleanup crew. Shrimp will work well or a mystery snail.
